The Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC) provides a comprehensive Offender Tracking Information System (OTIS). This platform allows you to search for inmates currently serving sentences in state prisons.
The Offender Tracking Information System (OTIS) contains information about prisoners, parolees, and probationers who are currently under supervision, or who have been discharged but are still within three years of their supervision discharge date.
A search result will provide information about any offender who is, or was, in a Michigan prison, on parole or probation under the supervision of the MDOC, has transferred in or out of Michigan under the Michigan Interstate Compact, or who has escaped or absconded from their sentence.
The MDOC enables the general public to find an inmate using the Offender Tracking Information System (OTIS). The tracking tool is available on the website, and you must agree to its terms and conditions before using it. The system only provides information about state prison detainees.

Search for an inmate's location and release date if they are incarcerated and under the custody of the Virginia Department of Corrections (VADOC). Inmates who are not under VADOC custody will not appear in the search results.
