Galway (/ ˈɡɔːlweɪ / GAWL-way; Irish: Gaillimh, pronounced [ˈɡal̠ʲɪvʲ] ⓘ) is a city in (and the county town of) County Galway. It lies on the River Corrib between Lough Corrib and Galway Bay.
