I've been working the last few years in one of the Miracle HIlls office buildings with a view of the 12th fareway. Unfortunately, we're being consolidated with another group in a much less desirable strip location soon.
I'm hearing a rumor of a Walmart Neighborhood Market in vicinity of 168th and State (ie the State Street jump project area). Meaningful for me, as I live in Bennington proper and it's currently about 6 miles to groceries on Maple. I feel like there's more than enough residential to support this or a Fareway up here.
I primarily shop Baker's and Super Target, and now with Fareway I hardly ever go to Hy Vee. Greg The Fareway really made me pull away completely from Hyvee. Produce and groceries at Bakers & Target.
